Minimum $47,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications, business or related field



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Minimum one year of experience required, two years preferred in event planning and coordination, customer relations/support, communications or public relations. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. Detail-oriented, thorough and accurate. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative and an ability to work independently as well as in groups.
Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Powerpoint and Excel). Experience with a CRM (customer relationship management) system, such as Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.

Position Summary:

This position is with the UW E-Business Consortium (uwebc.wisc.edu), a highly successful university industry partnership with more than 75 member companies, UW faculty and professional staff, and students from across campus. For more than 20 years, the UWEBC has engaged executives, managers and senior practitioners from leading companies in a variety of industry outreach programs (including user groups, executive retreats and conferences) that enable collaborative learning and knowledge-exchange of business best practices, innovative strategies and emerging technologies. This position will provide professional support to and work closely with UWEBC academic staff and faculty on the delivery of UWEBC's programs and services. Primary responsibilities of this position include:
