Advertised Job Summary
Under general supervision, responds to and diagnoses problems through discussions with users using problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps. Responsible for the planning and coordinating the support of AV technology in the enhanced classrooms and learning environments for faculty, staff, students, and clients on the USC Columbia campus. Responsible for providing training of faculty, staff, students, and clients on the USC Columbia campus in use of AV technology in the enhanced classrooms and learning spaces. Communicate and serve as chief liaison for daily activities related to the support of AV technology in classrooms and learning spaces. Supervises support staff that are assisting with trouble calls.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience, or high school diploma and 9 years related experience.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of AV control systems, microphones, projectors, visual presenters, and other AV equipment. Past supervisory experience, CTS certification, and a strong knowledge of MS Office products, web interfaces and databases is preferred.
