The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Department of Accounting & Taxation within the School of Business is seeking qualified applicants with broad expertise in the field of taxation to teach in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs.
The faculty is expected to teach in the school's graduate and undergraduate programs and conduct scholarly research in his/her discipline as well as providing services to the university community.
Candidates should have earned a JD/LLM (Taxation) or a Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution coupled with a background in taxation. Candidates who are ABD may also be considered. CPA certification and the ability to instruct in the accounting program are pluses. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching as well as productivity in research in their discipline. The successful candidate must be qualified as a Scholarly Academic as defined by Robert Morris School of Business.
