Assistant Professor of Healthcare Simulation Education (full time, tenure track).  Main responsibilities of this position are to function as a teacher, collaborator, consultant, advisor, and resource person to School of Health Professions (SHP) faculty utilizing simulation instruction.   This position requires technical expertise and health curriculum understanding to enhance quality simulation instruction and to promote inter-professional simulation education in SHP.  Qualifications include master’s degree or higher in a field related to a discipline taught in the School of Health Professions. Basic instructional concepts and evaluation methods in health care simulation instruction and knowledge of simulation equipment and latest technology are required.  CPR health care provider certification and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification required or must be willing to obtain.   Previous simulation experience, current, active, and unencumbered license (if applicable) are preferred. This faculty position is a 10-month regular academic year contract with an additional summer contract.
