Director Alumni Relations and Annual Giving

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Office of University Advancement is responsible for serving as the outreach arm of the university to our over 46,000 alumni. Through outreach activities, we seek to raise private support to ensure that Georgia College is able to meet its annual and strategic goals

Primary Purpose of Position

Georgia College is seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial advancement professional to build upon a strong foundation, and work in concert with the advancement staff and volunteers, in taking our alumni programming and Heritage Fund to the next level of excellence.

The successful candidate will initiate and nurture positive, productive relationships with internal and external members of the university community. Develop programs, services, and communication vehicles for GC constituents. Plan and execute a wide variety of events to increase alumni awareness about GC, and to generate constituent participation and donations. Serves as a primary university contact with the Alumni Board of Directors. Provide oversight and supervision for the Annual Giving Young Alumni programs. Position will involve working with individuals with diverse backgrounds.
