Teach courses in academic writing, including Craft of Prose, Global English, and seminars covering the genres, audiences, and special rhetorics of a specific discipline. Mentor newer lecturers and graduate student teaching fellows, and participate in professional development in teaching and writing. Requires a Ph.D., preferably with an emphasis on Disability Studies, three academic years of experience teaching academic/critical writing at the postsecondary level, and a record of published scholarship and academic writing evidencing an ability to teach same.
