Communication Studies Temporary Faculty Positions
The Department of Communication Studies at Kutztown University invites applications for temporary full-time positions for 2018-2019. Candidates would be considered for any of the following subject areas that may include upper and/or lower level courses: Interpersonal, Multicultural, Public Relations, Social Media, Mass Communication, Gender and Performance Studies. A successful interview, effective teaching demonstration, and short talk about research interests are required. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: a Masters degree in Communication Studies or a closely related field, and at least one year of teaching experience – or equivalent – at the college level (to be completed by June 2018). Preferred: a doctorate. Preference given to applicants showing evidence of strong teaching.
