Visiting Assistant Professor position in Statistics - One-year
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Ursinus College is inviting applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Statistics, to begin Fall 2018. The teaching load for this position is 3 courses in each semester.
A Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching statistics across all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, including introductory statistics and upper-division probability and theoretical statistics, specifically in the liberal arts setting.

A tenure-track search in Statistics is expected, pending approval, to commence next year with a start date of Fall 2019, for which the successful candidate for this Visiting position would be encouraged to apply. The tenure-track teaching load is 3-2, and an active research program is expected, in any area of Statistics.
