Position Summary: The Director of Academics and Operations is a key leadership position in the Master of Accounting (MAC) program and has responsibility for effective delivery of educational services, activities and events that are necessary to maintain a high-quality experience for students in both the online and on-campus formats of the Master of Accounting program. The Director reports to the Managing Director of the MAC Program and manages staff members who ensure key processes are performed such as registration, academic eligibility, degree requirements, orientation, immersions, graduation, general student services, faculty relations, course planning, student surveys, and academic policies. The Director of Academics and Operations also leads the budgeting and financial aspects of the program, including financial modeling, forecasting and extensive operational knowledge of both formats of the MAC Program. Finally, the position has extensive interaction with our Associate Dean and faculty lead, senior leadership at the business school, and our external technology partner who delivers our online learning management system.

Education Requirements: A Master's Degree or equivalent is required in the field of business, higher education, or counseling-related fields.

Qualification and Experience: Five or more years of academic leadership and/or student services experience in a university setting strongly preferred. Strong customer service focus. Proactive, highly responsive, collaborative, and able to make decisions independently to provide solutions to time-sensitive problems. Demonstrated attention to detail and comfort with technology and information records administration. Strong oral and written communication presentation skills. Experience managing large budgets.
