Duties: Plan/perform research and administrative tasks in an evolving, medium-sized research group that concentrates in nicotine addiction research, including medication and behavioral treatment clinical trials, laboratory studies of tobacco use behavior, and longitudinal cohort studies of adolescent tobacco product uptake. The successful candidate will have experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants, and working well as part of a team. Moreover, the successful candidate will be asked to work across multiple research trials, which will require adaptability, time management skills, and attention to detail. Specific activities include: (1) assenting adolescent participants, (2) preparing surveys for data collection waves, (3) traveling to local schools to collect survey data in the Fall and Spring, (4) data entry and quality assurance, and (5) perform tracking procedures to maintain adolescents in the cohort.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. College coursework or degree preferred. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years' experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants and working well as part of a team. The successful candidate should also possess skills in time management, attention to detail, problem solving, clear communication and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Valid driver's license required. Must pass Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
