Student Affairs Officer III
The Student Affairs Officer III will, in collaboration with all the program directors, work as the College of Nursing's Recruiter to design and implement an appropriate and strategic recruitment plan for BSN, DNP & PhD programs. This position will collaborate with other health professions colleges in the University's student recruitment, as well as coordinate the College's scholarship opportunities and will be involved/manage other student events (i.e., pinning, hooding, ceremonies).
Job duties include: evaluate the recruitment and promotion plan to determine effectiveness, make recommendations for adjustments as necessary, or as market indicates need for changes, as well as provide advising services for off-campus transfer students who are potential nursing applicants for undergraduate options. This position will also disseminate College scholarship and financial aid opportunities for students and manage College student events including graduation activities.
Some travel is required, with some overnights and weekends as needed.

Long periods of sitting and/or standing. Travel required with overnight stays and potential weekends. Lifting, pushing or pulling of up to 50 lbs.
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm will be the regular schedule. Travel may involve overnight stays with some weekends.
MS Windows, Excel, critical thinking, public speaking, communication strength - both written and verbal - with multiple audiences (students, parents) designing, planning, organizing, marketing, detail-oriented, collaborative with related departments, creativity.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Masters Degree, RN/nursing practice highly desirable; experience in advising, coaching, marketing, and/or nursing recruitment
Driver's License highly preferred due to the travel required for the position.
