The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing invites applications for a new Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor position on the specialized track to teach within our online graduate programs. This is a remote position conducted primarily online and via telecommunication.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide high quality online instruction in the clinical and didactic areas of nursing; develop curriculum; serve as an academic adviser and counselor for graduate students; maintain clinical and teaching competencies through continuing education and other forms of professional development; participate in SON faculty governance; attend required on-campus events such as graduation, annual retreats, and clinical skills testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should have: (1) a doctorate in nursing, education, public health or related field by date of application; (2) certification as an FNP or AGPCNP; (3) eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA APRN nursing licensure; (4) experience working with diverse and underserved populations; (5) NP experience in family primary care or adult-gero primary care (6) three or more years of online teaching experience at the college or university level; and (7) experience with curriculum development.
