The George Washington University (GW) School of Nursing invites applications for a new Assistant Professor, tenure-track, to teach within the online graduate programs. This position may begin as early as July 2018.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaches and mentors students in the AGACNP specialty area, advises students, works collaboratively with nursing colleagues and colleagues from other disciplines, publishes and maintains scholarship in the field, maintains active involvement in professional organizations related to specialty area, actively seeks opportunities for and participates in GW School of Nursing and faculty governance.Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have: (1) a doctorate in nursing, education, public health or related field by date of application; (2) certification as an AGACNP; (3) eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA APRN nursing licensure; (4) experience working with diverse and underserved populations; (5) NP experience in adult-gero acute care within the last 1-2 years; (6) one or more years of online teaching experience at the college or university level; and (7) an established/developing body of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and/or funded grants.Advertised Salary: Other Benefits: Other Information: Special Instructions to Applicants:
