To provide general assistance for a clinical trial designed to determine dietary strategies to prevent development of Type 2 diabetes. This position will work closely with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Center (CRC) staff to provide overall project support. Duties include a variety of organizational, administrative, and research tasks.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health care, or related field and one to three years' related experience required. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills required. Ability to work effectively within a team and operate independently to plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate and make decisions relating to assigned tasks required. Proficiency with standard computer applications and familiarity with data management tools required.
Previous experience in a clinical research setting or biomedical sciences highly desirable.
4-month probationary period required for this position. Position is budgeted for 36-months and is contingent of continued funding. Some local travel may be required.
