General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in the College of Education. The Graduate Assistant with COE Graduate Programs office is a critical member of the office team and is responsible for working with the faculty to administer the multiple programs the office is responsible for including teaching classes, program organization, and other Kinesiology-related events, etc. Preference will be given to students with outstanding organizational skills and/or experience in the Kinesiology field. This position will receive a graduate tuition waiver.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Grad Assistant will:

  • Assist with Kinesiology duties including administrative assistance and departmental organization.
  • Assist with COE Graduate Program marketing, promotion, and recruitment.
  • Assist with Kinesiology activities/events.
  • Assist with Laboratory set-up & clean-up.
  • Assist with in-class instruction.
  • Assist with research data collection & analysis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Kinesiology skills and organizational abilities
  • Assist with COE Graduate Programs and Kinesiology events including promotion, marketing, planning, and implementation
  • Assist with classroom instruction as needed.

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
