Duties: The Administrative Assistant will support the Managing Director of the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: handle confidential information with a high degree of professional discretion; proactively manage the day-to-day activities of the Managing Director's communications; manage a complex calendar; make domestic and international travel/meeting/event arrangements and process reimbursements through Concur; assist with event planning; manage the center's lobby area, greet and direct all visitors; perform general clerical duties as needed, including, but not limited to: copying, data entry, creating and editing documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, inventorying supplies and preparing meeting materials; maintain office equipment/supplies; manage conference room calendars; maintain filing system; answer incoming calls and perform other general administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required, Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, prefer experience with managing an executive calendar and must have strong administrative experience. Must be able to work in Washington, DC.
