Responsibilities:

Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies related to the Office of the General Counsel. Provide diverse reception and secretarial support for the Office of the General Counsel, including greeting visitors/clients, answering phones, taking messages, processing and tracking mail, assisting callers and visitors with questions, concerns and processes, booking travel, seminars and other registrations. Works with the Administrative Operations Manager to accurately keep record of and order supplies/inventory for the Office. Maintains Office of General Counsel calendar for conference rooms, create, organize and manage files, and assists in contract and subpoena logging/processing in SharePoint, supporting educational seminars, printing, scanning, preparing and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, emails, photocopying and faxing.

Qualifications:

Must have at least four years of professional office/administrative experience. Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication, customer service and organization skills. Must be IT proficient, including in the Microsoft Office Suite-word processing, databases and spreadsheets, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Candidate should be professional and courteous in all interactions and communications, capable of handling confidential matters; demonstrate consistently strong interpersonal skills; and, have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students and administrators. This position requires an individual who is detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a busy environment while successfully handling multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while keeping office personnel properly informed, demonstrate initiative, manage deadlines and be a problem solver.
