Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
The Department of Accountancy and Business Law has an opening for a tenure track assistant or associate professor of business law. We expect the successful candidate to begin in August 2018
Juris Doctorate degree required. Candidates must be (1) capable of excellent teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, (2) committed to a program of research and publication that maintains scholarly currency and classification as an AACSB scholarly academic (SA), and (3) a full participant in departmental activities, including academic advising of undergraduate students, committee assignments, and other service as assigned.
Professional licensure to practice law.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The Accountancy and Business Law Department supports the Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting, the Master of Science in Accountancy, and the Master of Business Administration programs. The Department also offers courses in the Cameron School core curriculum, including financial and managerial accounting and business law.
