Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
The Department of Accountancy and Business Law has an opening for a lecturer in accounting. We expect the successful candidate to begin in August 2018.

Minimum Requirements:
Must hold a master’s degree or higher in accountancy. Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching in a variety of courses as well as serving as an academic advisor and participating fully in the service activities of the department. Successful candidates must also be committed to maintaining credentialing at the IP or SP level, consistent with AACSB requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional licensure and/or certification in accounting.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The Accountancy and Business Law Department supports the Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting, the Master of Science in Accountancy, and the Master of Business Administration programs. The Department also offers courses in the Cameron School core curriculum, including financial and managerial accounting and business law.
