Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication (Digital Media Theory)
The Communication Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a two-year visiting position in Digital Media Theory to begin on July 1, 2018. Candidates for the Media Theory position must demonstrate the ability to teach courses in two or more of the following areas: media history and theory, history of advertising, critical studies. Interdisciplinary focus and knowledge of qualitative methods are assets. The teaching load is five courses per year. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in communication or a related field relevant to the job description. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching and working with diverse student populations.
