Position Summary

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Eli Broad College of Business is seeking applications for a fixed-term faculty member with responsibilities in teaching undergraduate students. A variety of courses may be taught, however, the primary teaching responsibility will be for the Principles of Management Accounting course taken by all students admitted to the College, with additional teaching responsibilities based on department needs.  

Additional duties include:

  • Managing Graduate Teaching Assistants and Undergraduate Learning Assistants
  • Student advising
  • Curriculum development.

This is a nine-month academic year appointment, subject to annual review and renewal. Additional summer teaching opportunities are possible with additional compensation. There are no research requirements for this position.

The position will ideally start August 16, 2018. 

Required Degree

Doctorate -Accounting

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree and a record of excellent teaching skills at the undergraduate level to a diverse student body.
