The College of Information-Dean's Office Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Imaging Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
*Index, link and/or route documents by locating important information on documents and coding documents as required into the system to ensure proper linking/ routing into queues. Confirm accuracy of document field entries. May perform data entry task from hardcopy and/or electronic document image.
*Use of scanning equipment provided to convert paper documents to electronic documents. Initial quality assurance of document quality should be completed at this time.
*Thorough understanding of department process and procedures to ensure compliance with processes, security and privacy rules and regulations.
*Assist with some customer service responsibilities, such as greeting walk-ins and answering incoming phone calls.

The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
* Must be detail oriented and have the ability to detect and correct document quality issues.
* Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production service level agreements while producing quality work.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple tasks on a daily basis.
* Ability to follow the procedures for capturing, storing, routing and retrieving of electronic records and documents.
* Basic Microsoft Office skills.
* Ability to problem-solve, multi-task andorganize in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
* Ability to effectively communicate.
