Summary of Job Duties

The Program Associate will have the following duties:
1. Responsible for the design and execution of all breeding efforts of the program, including but not limited to:
1a. design of trials in the database.
1b. coordination of all logistics of seed cleaning, packaging, coordination with research station personnel.
1c. coordination of planting, plot maintenance, note taking and harvesting operations.
1d. experimental QA/QC and data analysis and summarization.
2. Direct supervisory responsibilities over nursery program technician and part-time employees.
3. Execute breeding budget.

B.S. in a plant breeding field plus three years of experience or a M.S. in a plant breeding field.

If yes, please specify Ability to obtain a Class-A CDL. Ability to obtain a Pesticide's Applicator License. Ability to obtain a Remote Pilot Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

B.S. with five years of experience or M.S. with three years of experience in plant breeding field research



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
