Position Summary: Reporting to Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students contributes leadership for the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and advances divisional efforts towards our institutional mission and strategic goals. The primary focus of this position is to ensure student safety, enhance student success and promote an educationally purposeful and inclusive student experience. The incumbent provides leadership to a student-centered team which includes the Office of Dean of Students, Student Life and Intercultural Student Affairs, Health and Student Counseling Center, Career Services, and College Pathways Program. In addition, the incumbent will be charged with the application and implementation of TRiO programs that align with institutional mission and student success goals. This position also oversees the student conduct process, the CARE Team, and Campus Threat Assessment Team.

Minimum Qualifications: a€¢ Mastera€™s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in related field such as, but not limited to, College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, or Organizational and Leadership Studies. a€¢ Ten plus years of progressive professional experience in higher education.

Preferred Qualifications: a€¢ Earned Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in related field such as, but not limited to, College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, or Organizational and Leadership Studies. a€¢ Ten plus years of progressive professional experience in higher education. a€¢ Experience in residential campus with demonstrated record of managing student conduct and/or crisis intervention. a€¢Experience with TRiO programs.
