Lecturer of Entrepreneurship

Job Summary: The Entrepreneurship Program in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia invites applications from qualified candidates to fill a full-time non-tenure track Lecturer position, effective August 2018. This position may also serve as Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship. Candidates must have a PhD in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, or a related discipline, or a Master's and/or a Bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, or a related discipline with significant experience in the practice of entrepreneurship (a minimum of 5 years). Candidates must demonstrate a record of engaged teaching specifically related to entrepreneurship and innovation and be comfortable in a collaborative teaching environment; research is not a consideration. Preference will be given to candidates with industry as well as academic experience. Candidates lacking a terminal degree must be approved for an exception to the terminal degree requirement before hire. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program and entrepreneurship faculty to deliver courses in innovation and entrepreneurship as a part of the Entrepreneurship Certificate offered by the College. The Lecturer will also support non-instructional activities as directed by the Director to fulfill the College and University's entrepreneurship educational mission. If position also serves in an administrative role as Assistant Director, they will be assigned specific leadership roles related to non-instructional activities.
