The University of Kentucky Healthcare (UKHC) Perioperative Services department is seeking an Anesthesia Coordinator. The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: personnel management, including staffing, scheduling, and training; operations, including protocol development, inventory, and minor equipment repair; communication with vendors, purchasing, and administration; new product trial evaluation; and following all established hospital policies and procedures to provide for the operations of the surgical suites and anesthesia department.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or
pulling objects up to and over 25lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 15lbs; and regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time while performing repetitive motions (such as typing).



Shift

Primarily day shift Monday-Friday with on-call per departmental needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate must be able to maintain and repair anesthesia equipment.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelors degree preferred. Prefer to have one of the following: CPR, ASATT, RRT, Radiation Tech, Surgical Tech.
