Job Summary/Basic Function: Use diagnostic Texas Success Initiatives (TSI) data to provide targeted interventions to students who do not meet college readiness standards in the subject of Mathematics including, but not limited to, elementary algebra and functions, intermediate algebra, geometry and measurement, and data analysis, statistics, and probability. Provide students instruction in one-one-one and/or group setting. Develop TSI preparation material or use existing Mathematics preparations resources.

Work Hours: Morning, afternoon, and evening hours up to 10 hours per week

Qualifications

Education

Necessary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Math or related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's level course work in Math or related field.

Experience

Necessary Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in the subject area.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge or curriculum related to Developmental Mathematics.

Other Requirements or Other Factors

Other Qualifications for Posting: Necessary
Familiarity with the Texas Success Initiative. Ability to work cooperatively with others and provide excellent customer service to students, employees, and the community. Ability to multi task.

Preferred
Experience with scheduling software.
