Job Summary/Basic Function: The College of Business is seeking applications from qualified candidates for two full-time, tenure-track appointment beginning in Fall 2018. The appointment is for an Assistant Professor of Accounting to teach graduate and undergraduate accounting courses and advise students. The College offers BBA and MPA degrees in Accounting. Quality performance will be expected in teaching, service, and research. Preference will be given to candidates who have specialties in audit, or forensic accounting; potential/record of research productivity; have professional certification and effective communications skills.
Work Hours: Flexible to suit course schedule. Teaching assignments may include day, night, or weekend classes.

Necessary Qualifications: Earned doctorate degree in Accounting from AACSB accredited university. ABD will be considered if expected to receive the degree by summer 2018.
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting.
Necessary Qualifications: Evidence of research potential/productivity.
Scholarly Academic (SA) qualified according to AACSB criteria.
Preferred Qualifications: College/University teaching experience.
Prior Relevant industry experience.
Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.
Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
Other Requirements or Other Factors
