    The Advanced Cyber-Physical Systems Lab at the University of California, Irvine, invites applications for a few Postdoctoral Scholar positions at a salary of $48,216 to $58,560 per year, in one of the following areas. A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a major research university is required. Applicants should have expertise in one of the following areas:

    a. Hardware Security. A Ph.D. degree that covers topics of hardware security. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to have good understanding of the Software. Candidates with knowledge in machine learning based data driven techniques for intrusion detection will be given higher priority.

    b. Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems Security. A Ph.D. degree that covers the topics of embedded and cyber-physical systems security including application areas of manufacturing, transportation, automotive, smartgrid, healthcare, etc. is required. Candidates with knowledge in machine learning based data driven techniques for intrusion detection will be given higher priority.

    The initial appointment will be for 12 months and salary depends on the applicant's qualifications. Renewal of the appointment will be contingent upon the availability of adequate funding and performance.
