Posting Summary:
The Harris lab in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Virginia seeks a candidate for a postdoctoral researcher.

The candidate must hold a PhD in Microbiology or Immunology by the start date. The candidate must have strong background in molecular parasitology and immunology.

Required skills include generation of knockout strains of Toxoplasma gondii, confocal microscopy, widefield fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, cell culture, in vitro antigen presentation assays, and real time PCR. A strong publication record is required.
