Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia, McIntire Department of Music seeks applications for one or more positions of Adjunct Instructor in Voice. Responsibilities include teaching private voice lessons.

Qualifications: Graduate degree or commensurate professional experience. Demonstrated experience as a performer and teacher; strong potential as a teacher of undergraduate students. Candidates should be comfortable teaching students of varying skill levels (music majors and non-majors), and teaching a range of classical and modern techniques and repertoires. Compensation is per service for studio teaching; 2015-16 rate is $713 per student per semester of one-hour lessons. Appointment to begin on January 20, 2016.
