Posting Summary:
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor of Medicine position. This tenure-eligible faculty position joins a dynamic, growing academic program in Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Support, and Cardiac Transplantation. The incumbent is responsible for clinical practice focusing on heart failure patients, and also provides clinical instruction to students, residents and cardiovascular fellows. Opportunities for research that is commensurate with experience and interest may be accommodated.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent from an accredited University, and be board-certified and/or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by appointment start date. Candidates who have completed a Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Support, or Cardiac Transplantation will be given priority.
