Posting Summary:
The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for Open Rank (Assistant, Associate or Professor) tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position with subspecialty focus on Genitourinary (GU) neoplasms. Rank and track is dependent upon qualifications.

The incumbent will strengthen the clinical and clinical research efforts in GU oncology utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at the University. Additionally, the incumbent will attend inpatient and outpatient services and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center, for a growing number of patients with genitorurinary malignancies. As an integral part of the educational mission, the incumbent will actively participate in the teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. This tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible faculty position is designed for physicians focused on a career of clinical investigation and the provision of outstanding clinical care including active participation in our educational mission.

The selected candidates must have a MD or equivalent, and be board-certified in Internal Medicine by appointment start date. Eligibility or Board-certification in Medical Oncology is required. Evidence of expertise in the care of patients with GU malignancies is required.
