Posting Summary:
The Department of Pathology within the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia is currently seeking motivated student interns for the summer. Projects will include recoupling D1 receptor by inhibiting GRK4 kinase activity using a live assay and in vitro kinase assay; and use of microfluidics to make uniform GEMs (Global Cell Solutions eukaryotic microcarriers). Also, extra assistance as an engineer will be offered to students for their projects during the summer.

A working understanding of tissue cell culture will be a significant benefit. Applicants needs to be detail-oriented and able to work at least 20-25 hours per week.

These are restricted positions.
