The University of Virginia Department of Women Gender and Sexuality seeks applications to fill non-tenure track instructional positions during the 2017-2018 academic year. Subject areas of particular need include, but are not limited to global feminisms, queer theory, feminist theory, LGBTQ lives in global perspectives, women in politics, feminist economics, LGBTQ health, cultural and social issues in reproduction, and gender and sexuality issues in African or Latin American contexts.
Compensation is in the form of wages. A terminal degree is expected but not required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Review of applications will begin May 8, 2017; however, the position is open until filled.
