Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia is searching for collaborative and dynamic candidates to fill multiple Employee Relations Consultant positions. ER Consultants are strategic, consultative partners for client areas across the Academic Division and Health System.

As an integral member of the Employee Relations Team, the ER Consultant will report directly to the Manager of Employee Relations and will work with assigned business areas across the University. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in the area of employee relations and the primary focus of this position will be to; handle ER investigations, provide advice and counsel to HR professionals and managers on workplace issues regarding policy interpretation and application, and the progressive disciplinary process that includes informal levels of counseling, formal discipline and the grievance procedure process.

Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in employee relations and a proven track record of successful results acting as trusted advisors amongst other HR professionals and managers. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous experience in an employee relations role and qualified internal candidates.
