The Department of Psychology is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for the Computational Memory Lab. Much of the work in the lab seeks to develop a mechanistic understanding of cognition by means of a combination of large-scale behavioral experiments, neuroimaging, and computational modeling of behavior. The primary responsibilities of this position involve all aspects of study administration, including training students on study protocols, assist with developing study materials, programming computer tasks, data management analysis, supervising other research assistants, literature reviews and manuscript preparation, aiding with IRB materials, and recruiting and scheduling participants. The position is anticipated to start by the late summer of 2017, though the specific date will be negotiated. This position is restricted and is contingent upon the continuation of continued funding.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Computer programming skills, specifically with the Python programming language and open source scientific libraries.
-Excellent organization skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
