Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia's Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy seeks an experienced writer to write, copyedit, and oversee production of a variety of internal and external communications. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the writer's work will include creating and editing content for digital platforms, creating content for and overseeing production of print publications, and preparing leadership communications on behalf of the Dean and other Batten School senior officials.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to establish and meet appropriate deadlines.
Journalistic ethics and the ability to deal professionally with School and external sources and constituencies.
Ability to handle competing priorities, including competing components of the position.
Ability to keep careful and accurate records, tracking drafts and sources, for example.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively towards common goals.
