Posting Summary:
The University Council for Educational Administration in the Department of Leadership, Foundations and Policy at the Curry School of Education seeks applicants for a Research Associate to train with the UCEA research team. The incumbent supports UCEA's Program Redesign Project and trains under the direction of Dr. Michelle Young, Executive Director of UCEA. This is a one year appointment with possible renewal for up to three years.

A doctoral degree in Education or a relevant social science discipline is required by the start date of position. A doctoral degree focused on Educational Leadership is preferred. Research focused on educational leadership, leadership development or adult learning is required. Experience with higher education principal preparation programs is preferred. Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills are required, as are data organization and analysis skills. Program evaluation skills are preferred. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, as is an attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word), Adobe Acrobat, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical software, and the use of internet-based tools are required.
