The University of Virginia's Tibet Center seeks applicants for a Tibetan Content Specialist. This position will be part of a larger collaborative team responsible for the creation and indexing of online digital humanities content. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Tibetan language, and a Master's in Tibetan Studies or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Ph.D in Tibetan Studies or related discipline is preferred.
UVA's Tibet Center was established in 2008 to promote an integrated model of knowledge and practice consisting of study programs, research initiatives, library collections, collaborative scholarly initiatives, and engaged social programs hosted by the University of Virginia.
