The University of Virginia is currently seeking forward-thinking candidates for the position of Treasury Administrator.
The Treasury Administrator position is an entry-level position in the Office of the Treasurer. The position will receive a broad view of Treasury Management, including Cash, Investment, Debt Management, Treasury Operations, as well as administrative support for the Strategic Investment Fund, Planned-Giving reporting, Enterprise Risk Management, Foundation Relations, and other duties as may be assigned.
The position may participate internal and external meetings and presentations. Internally, the position will collaborate with multiple Schools and Departments across university grounds to contribute to department deliverables. Externally, the position may have interaction with bankers, financial advisors, and UVA-related Foundations. The position-holder may be asked to attend executive-level meetings and act as scribe; confidentially is paramount and accurate and brisk written communications are critical.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-- Knowledge of office management principles, methods, and procedures to complete work assignments.
-- Knowledge of organization, personnel, and fiscal management to complete daily work assignments.
-- Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure to ensure that written materials prepared and reviewed are complete, concise, and error-free.
-- Ability to review and edit written materials for proper content, format, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
-- Ability to listen and take accurate notes based on verbal information.
-- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when completing multiple assignments.
-- Ability to work independently and carry out a variety of critical and time sensitive projects without detailed instructions. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
-- Ability to remain professional when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
-- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information obtained through the course of completing assignments
