Posting Summary:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks a full time faculty member to join the Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology Division at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, tenure eligible or tenure ineligible. Academic rank and track are dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The incumbent will take an active role in outpatient and inpatient care, education of trainees and research activities.

The applicant must have an MD, be board-eligible or board-certified in Neurology, and have training or previous clinical experience treating patients with multiple sclerosis. To be considered for the tenure eligible position, the candidate must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine and have demonstrated expertise in multiple sclerosis clinical care and research. The applicant should complement our collaborative MS division, which currently includes an adult MS specialist, a pediatric MS specialist, MS nurse practitioner, and two full-time research coordinators.
