Strategic Systems & Support (HR-3S), part of University Human Resources (UHR), has responsibility for HR systems and support, vendor relations for relevant systems and services, HR data reporting & analytics, business analyst functions, project & process management, systems training for HR professionals, and general assistance and support for HR strategic initiatives including Ufirst, the University's strategic HR design initiative http://ufirst.virginia.edu.
HR-3S seeks a versatile and highly motivated individual for its team. Drawing upon a deep understanding of both the business processes and the underlying technology, the translates the business perspective into technical requirements for the benefit of our customers and community. The right candidate will focus on solutions that add value, provide insight, and will solve problems across the organization.
In addition, the Reporting Analyst will design, create and deploy reports and analytics apps using UVA's business intelligence tool (Qlik Sense); analyze, document, redesign current business processes; be the front-facing liaison to end users to execute projects that improve current technologies and processes; champion and advance both lean and agile methodologies; as well as other evolving responsibilities.
