The University of Virginia seeks two IT Recruiters to join their Talent Recruitment team. The positions are responsible for working jointly with colleagues to identify, source, and hire IT talent for assigned Academic and Health System organizations. The IT Recruiters oversee a portfolio of searches, provide guidance on best practices for hiring officials from point of application to offer completion, and ensures a positive candidate experience.
The IT Recruiters will work in partnership with Senior Recruiters to identify, source, and attract talent for assigned searches; apply judgment and discretion to recruiting issues and concerns; work directly with Talent Recruiting management to resolve more complex issues; source and attract candidates utilizing industry tools and networks; serve as a liaison with hiring managers and candidates to streamline recruitment procedures and accomplish workforce needs; interact with hiring managers and candidates on a daily basis, provide search updates for assigned searches; provide hiring managers with best practices for increasing diversity through available EOCR and other resources; and utilize an applicant tracking system to manage candidates from point of application to finalization of offer.
Qualified candidates will have at least a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills. Experience working for a 4-year higher education institution and/or an affiliated health system is also preferred. This is not a remote position. Successful candidates will work on the beautiful UVa Grounds with the talent recruitment team.
