Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia Health System Development Office seeks a Development Coordinator, UVA Brain to join our collaborative, high-achieving, and enthusiastic team in preparation for the University's upcoming bicentennial campaign. The Development Coordinator will play a key role in expanding the scope and enhancing the impact of the UVA Brain pan-University fundraising program.

As a member of the UVA Brain development team, the Development Coordinator will help engage University alumni, parents, friends, grateful patients and families in support of UVA Brain priorities. The Development Coordinator will ensure that our outreach to patient prospects and donors is prioritized, coordinated, and fully compliant with patient privacy law. He/she will support our programs to engage volunteers, faculty and clinician partners in philanthropy, track campaign fundraising and performance metrics, coordinate with advancement partners across Grounds, and manage special projects. The Development Coordinator will support and speed the work of the UVA Brain team by providing administrative support to the Director of Development, UVA Brain (to whom this position reports) and two Associate Directors of Development.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in managing projects, working with databases, and organizing/analyzing data and information. He/she will be able to pivot easily between independent project work and collaborations with a supervisor and/or team. Ultimately, he/she will be a strong fit for a fast-paced, highly organized team and will be able to contribute in a way that makes our collective achievements even better.

*Skills in running/compiling reports and analyzing/interpreting data

*Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality
*Demonstrated project management skills
*Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*High level of attention to detail
*Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
