The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia Health System, is actively seeking a Fellowship trained Breast Imager. We have recently added new faculty, but our work continues to expand. Our division of 5 dedicated breast imaging faculty work extremely well together- we are looking for a kind, empathetic person to join us. Qualified candidates for this position must have an MD or equivalent degree in the field, be eligible for Virginia State Medical Licensure, be board-certified/eligible, and have a commitment to quality patient care and outstanding teaching. Applicants must be competent in all aspects of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and breast procedures including core biopsy. Responsibilities also include dedication to teaching and academic endeavors including interest in research. This is a full-time opportunity to join one of the premier academic communities in the country.
