Posting Summary:
The Program in Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law (PPL) seeks an interim Director to assist with the day-to-day running of the program while the current Director is on leave during the Spring semester 2018. The interim Director will work under the broad supervision of the current Director. Responsibilities of the position include: overseeing the completion of around 25 4th-year PPL theses, in co-ordination with their capstone instructors and advisors; assisting students with their research and any academic problems; receiving and processing applications for the class of 2020; setting up and running a search for a post-doctoral fellow to start next Fall; planning and preparing the May 2018 PPL graduation ceremony. Compensation is $5000. Candidates must have a PhD in Political Science or a related field.
