Advancement Operations at the University of Virginia is seeking a team member with customer service expertise and web development skills. Your familiarity with online tools will help our fundraising professionals generate millions of philanthropic dollars for Thomas Jefferson's landmark institution as we launch into our Third Century Campaign. You'll support a cloud-based Online Engagement System (OES) for targeted email, online donations, event registration forms. You'll also help generate reports to help our partners measure engagement and ensure our outreach efforts are moving audiences and keeping them engaged in the life and support of the University
You will need excellent communication, planning and organizational skills, the desire to be a member of a collaborative team, the ability to hit deadlines and work with shifting priorities. You'll also need the people skills to support a variety of stakeholders in individual schools and centers of excellence across UVA Grounds.
Required: Excel, Software platforms such as: MailChimp, Emma, EventBrite, Cvent, GoFundMe.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written communication and telephone skills.
Teamwork, planning and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills.
Ability to meet deadlines, and handle swiftly changing priorities.
Must have the ability to quickly learn new systems
