Posting Summary:
The Department of Environmental Sciences is seeking to fill the position of Fiscal and Research Administrator, Post-Award. This position will serve as the research administrator for all post award activities, including reporting to sponsors, interaction with key personnel across grounds regarding sponsored accounts and will work closely with the faculty in the Department. This position is also responsible for supervision of one Fiscal Technician.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is required. At least four years experience in public administration, accounting, business management, research administration or related field is required. Some post award administration experience is required as well as some supervisory experience. At least two years of experience in higher education is preferred, specifically in research administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of budgeting, accounting, or purchasing. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with diverse clientele. Ability to prioritize tasks with multiple deadlines in a busy environment; excellent time management and organizational skills are required. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and cost accounting standards is required. Knowledge of sponsored programs, specifically post award administration is required. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direct the work of others in a proactive and productive manner is required.
