Assistant/Associate Professor Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon

The Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, and the University of Vermont Healthcare Network, are seeking to fill a faculty position in the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical Scholar Pathway, commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
Applicants must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Successful candidates will have demonstrable expertise in caring for patients with craniofacial anomalies/traumatic injury, an interest in supporting our microsurgical reconstructive breast surgery program as well as our cosmetic surgery program. He or she must be eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont, eligible to work in the United States, and have a career interest in the administrative, teaching, clinical, and research activities of the academic division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position with attending staff privileges at the University of Vermont Medical Center and across the University of Vermont Healthcare Network.
Located in Burlington, the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center serve as Vermont's only academic medical center. It is the only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center in the state and provides tertiary care to patients from Vermont and Northern NY.
